Please be advised that under the terms of the first year, of a three year Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers’ Local Union 130, U. A. and Plumbing Contractors Association, we are supplying the wage and fringe benefit package effective August 1, 2010 through May 31, 2011.

1 No employer contributions required on apprentices, while attending assigned school day

The Plumbers Retirement Savings Fund 401(k) and/or Regular Savings Plan Deduction of a MINIMUM of $1.50 per hour for each hour worked for each Journeyman and $1.00 per hour MINIMUM for each hour worked for 4th and 5th year Apprentices remains unchanged. First, Second and Third year apprentices are exempt from this deduction. A Participant CAN DIRECT MORE than the base contribution rate of $1.50 per hour, in increments of fifty ($0.50) cents, but NOT MORE THAN $10.00 PER HOUR to the 401(k) Plan, NOT TO EXCEED THE ANNUAL IRS LIMITS. The Working Dues Deduction of $0.35 per hour for each hour worked for Journeymen and $0.24 per hour for each hour worked for Apprentices also remains unchanged. 1st Year – 1st Six Months Apprentices are exempt from the working dues deductions.

An increase of two dollars and fifteen cents ($2.15) per hour, effective June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012, has been negotiated under the terms of this Agreement for Journeymen Plumbers, Sub-Foremen, Foremen, (or Plumbing Inspectors), Superintendents (or District Foremen), General Superintendents (or District Superintendents) will be paid at least 6% above Superintendent’s wage rate per hour.

An increase of two dollars and twenty cents ($2.20) per hour, effective June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013, has been negotiated under the terms of this Agreement for Journeymen Plumbers, Sub-Foremen, Foremen, (or Plumbing Inspectors), Superintendents (or District Foremen), General Superintendents (or District Superintendents) will be paid at least 6% above Superintendent’s wage rate per hour.

You will be notified as to the allocation of the above annual increases in a timely manner.

The contractor contribution to the Education Fund, Promotion Fund and the Legal Fund will remain the same.

This, in effect, results in a total increase effective August 1, 2010 of two dollars and five cents ($2.05) per hour. In terms of contribution reports there will be no retroactivity. The rates are effective as of August 1, 2010.
