Local 130 Members Bring Cheer to inner city children
Santa is Big Hit at Annual Kids Christmas Party
Over 800 local area children from 13 schools celebrated with Santa at the 2006 Annual Kids Christmas Party. Started in 1993, Local 130’s ‘Kids Party’ makes hundreds of children’s Chirstmas Season light up through the simple act of giving.
Inner city school children from the city’s west side are treated to a delightful day with Santa’s helpers, apprentices, office staff, and volunteers to do everything from cooking to cleaning to gift sorting!
Over 800 1st graders from 13 Chicago area schools participated in this years Annual Kids Christmas Party. This included over 200 young choral singers from the Skinner School Choir pictured above.
